Meetings of the youth parliament

The 16 members of the youth parliament meet every month for a session at Haus der Jugend (House of Youth). The meetings are public, which means that everyone is welcome to attend the plenary assemblies. They always take place from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the office at Haus der Jugend on Tempelhoferstasse 17.

The aim is to develop suggestions for improving the situation of local young people and to propose measures to make Monheim am Rhein a child-friendly and youth-friendly town. The JuPa is non-partisan, represents the interests of all young people before the Youth Welfare Committee and advises it on all matters affecting young people.

If you have any ideas, suggestions, wishes or even criticism, talk to one of the JuPa members, send an email or simply attend a meeting of the youth parliament. We are always pleased to welcome visitors!
